Ascension Lutheran’s Evangelism  Ministry Action Team (MAT) is designed to equip not only the members of Ascension to be more effective witnesses of the Lord, but to reach out into our community and touch the lives of people and connect them to Jesus.

We do this through various projects which include:

1. Supporting the Cancer Support Group, the DivorceCare Group, and GriefShare Group as an outreach into the community.
2. Supporting an annual Evangelism Festival Weekend with a guest speaker at all the services and luncheon.
3. Conducting Evangelism seminars to train members in evangelism.
