Women in God's Service

WinGS is the name of our local Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) society. This society is affiliated with the English District LWML, which in turn is affiliated with the National LWML. An active program of mission outreach, service, and inspiration is planned for every month.  Check out the News & Events page for upcoming events! 

Our Mission Statement:

The mission of WinGS is to involve each woman of Ascension in affirming her faith with the Triune God and her sisters in Christ so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the community and the world.
