 Christmas Tree Cross for Easter

Again this year we will follow our Ascension tradition, and set up a cross outside the main entrance to the Family Life Center.  We have a cross made from a live Christmas tree, and on Good Friday it will be draped in black as a visual reminder of Christ's suffering and death for us.  On Easter Sunday morning the cross will be wrapped in white, and when you come to worship, please bring a live flower(s) to put on the cross.  By the end of our worship services, the cross is filled with flowers of all colors, and we then place it out in front of the church along Magee Road, so that passers-by may also enjoy the beauty of the Easter Cross, and be reminded of our Savior's resurrection.
